Magnet Program Application
After a successful Magnet Open House, students are welcome to apply for magnet programs offered at Deerfield Beach High School. Each magnet program has a focus that attracts to specific interests of the student applying. Acceptance into a Magnet Program for high school students is based on academic performance.

Magnet Open House
Parents and students will first meet with the staff members in the auditorium for an assembly and a general introduction to the school. Then each magnet program will divide and go into their areas of the school and properly introduce their own magnet and what the each have to offer.

Registration
Deerfield Beach High School is now offering New Students Registration for the 2023-2024 Academic School Year. Current Students, Magnet Students or Incoming zoned ninth graders do not need to register; your information will rollover. Directions on how to access and simplify the student’s registration.

CAMPUS ORIENTATION
The Welcoming Party is here for Class of 2027! Deerfield Beach High's Administration and Staff will be working on Wednesday, August 16th to greet the newest students to campus for the 2023 Freshmen Roundup. Parents and future Bucks will start the evening learning about different D.B.H.S. policies in the gymnasium along with having early access to their schedules to help guide students to a new campus. There will also be tables placed in the main mall for students to sign up for clubs, activities and sports starting at 6:00 p.m.

Tryout information
Students who are new to D.B.H.S. can attend open tryouts for Fall Cheerleaders; Monday, August 28th at 3:30 p.m.

School Advisory Council Meeting
The School Advisory Council otherwise known as SAC is made up of teachers, staff members, parents, partners, and members of the community. The SAC Committee is responsible for providing input that helps guide school-wide decision making related to school improvement, program adoption, and other topics that relate to school culture. SAC would like to cordially invite all stakeholders to our meeting on August 28, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. in the media center.

NEIGHBORHOOD MARKET
Fresh & Healthy improves access to free healthy food within the Deerfield Beach community by creating new distribution channels to reach those in need every Thursday until June 2nd.

Stakeholder Survey
Broward County Public Schools will be holding the 2023 Stakeholder Survey through the AdvanceED eProve Surveys program. The surveys are intended for parents to share their opinion on Deerfield Beach High School. Questions in the survey will include teachers, administrators, and other information about the parent's experience with the school. The surveys will be available online only and will be accessible in multiple languages, such as English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Haitian Creole. The anonymous survey will take around five minutes and can be accessed on mobile devices and computers. There are also other ways to provide feedback, either directly to schools or by contacting B.C.P.S. directly. There are Face-to-Face events, town halls held for middle and high school students, or twice per year Superintendent's advisory councils for parents, teachers, principals, students, and community members.
