The committee currently consists of 31 members, 27 of whom are appointed by the School Board. The Facilities Task Force provides a forum for community participation in the planning, construction, maintenance, and monitoring processes of the Broward County school facilities and makes recommendations to The School Board of Broward County, Florida, that will promote excellence in Broward County school facilities.
