Demographics & Enrollment Planning (DEP) works to facilitate near- and long-range organizational decision-making for the optimization of educational facility usage and resource allocation. Through collaboration with BCPS leadership, departments, schools, and external stakeholders, DEP provides critical data and analysis to support the Broward County Public School Strategic Plan. DEP also manages critical processes required by statute to set school attendance areas and used each year, as well as the decennial, census-driven redistricting process to realign school board member districts.
Mission: Supporting the BCPS Strategic Plan by providing critical data, high quality analysis, student information accuracy assurance, wide-ranging stakeholder engagement, and collaborative planning for resource use.
