Broward County Public Schools has implemented a new online Facility Rental Request system.  Using the Facilitron system, reservation requests can be easily submitted online.  Facility users are able to access photos and descriptions of school facilities, review availability, obtain estimated quotes, and pay rental invoices online.

The process of requesting/approval/management of facility use is now digital, what is implemented on Facilitron, remains the same as dictated by the District’s board policies on facility use.  The District’s site Administrators make the final decisions on all facility use requests.

Facilitron will collect and verify proof of insurance and will collect payment for facility rentals.  Facility user’s will be able to submit payment using a major credit card, ACH/echeck, Paypal, or by check.

Broward County Public Schools facilities are available for rental to both non-profit and for-profit organizations. Facilities used by non-district organizations require an approved rental contract. The rental or use of public school facilities for non-district functions shall be permitted when not in conflict with regular or extracurricular school programs.  

Food and Beverage
The school principal or facility director shall require the use of regular food service workers when fixed kitchen equipment is used in connection with food preparation, service and clean-up during use of a public school facility rental.

Rental Fees
Rental fees are outlined in Exhibit 1 of the Facility Rental Use Policy 8020  

Payments
Payments must be made prior to the event date. You may pay by cash, money order, business or cashier's check.
