On behalf of the Florida Collegiate Honors Council and our conference host, Broward College, I would like to invite you to attend the 2013 FCHC Annual Conference. The conference will begin the evening of Friday, February 22nd and end in the early afternoon of Sunday, February 24th. The conference will be held at The Westin Fort Lauderdale (see the “2013 Conference Hotel” link to the left for room rate and booking information).

The theme for the conference is “Empowering Honors: How Will We Shape the Future?” We hope that Honors students and faculty from throughout the state of Florida will use this conference as an opportunity to share their ideas about the future role of Honors students in a global society and the future of Honors studies in undergraduate education.

Through this conference we hope to create an academic community that is as vibrant as the South Florida sunshine. Therefore, we welcome you to take advantage of what the 2013 FCHC Annual Conference has to offer by presenting your research, engaging with Honors students and faculty from throughout the state, and taking what you learn back to your home campuses.

We look forward to seeing you in Fort Lauderdale in February!
