Facilities Division
The Facilities Division is responsible for the management, planning, design, construction, maintenance, and overall implementation of the District’s on-going capital building and improvement programs. Capital programs include school maintenance, new schools, capacity additions, demolition, and renovation/remodeling of existing facilities and infrastructure in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
Mission/Goal
The Facilities Division is committed to providing safe and supportive environments for all Broward County Public School students and staff through cost effective and timely delivery of high-quality facility support services.
Goals and Objectives
- Leverage 21st Century Best Practices in Facilities Planning to ensure that every dollar spent in BCPS provides optimal utility.
- Utilize various construction delivery methods to construct new schools, build capacity additions, and renovate/remodel existing facilities in the execution of the SMART General Obligation Bond Program and every other construction project.
- Provide all District schools, campuses, and administrative sites with high quality and efficient facility maintenance support services.
